Struggling Woes

Break ’em!

I sit by the stony wall
Where the waves
Crash into them
Not two feel below.

I sit rigid and unmoving.
I hear their
Churning. I hear them
Moan. I feel their
restlessness.

The waves seperate
From the sea;
Rise high above,
But are pulled back to
Be dissolved within.

A part of it but still not
The same.
Apart from it
But yet not away!

Their rise.
Their fall.

Their deafening
Roar.
Their frothy
Death.

I was one with
The waves.

I was with them.
I was in them.

My sorrows reflected
Upon the tiny rivers of
Those failed waves.

Those sorrows that
Melt away in smiles
And laughter?

They aren’t mine.

My sorrows are made
Not like these angry waves
That lose sight
In their anger.

My sorrows are not
Blinded that they
Willingly charter
Their own death.

My sorrows are made
Of sterner wisps
Of hatred.

Hatred that bids
Its time until its
Strength outshines its
Maker.

Hatred that rips away
The very soul apart.

Hatred that connives
With the devil.

And then, at ease
Poisons the Maker.
